HdM Practical Game Development

Milestone 1
For Milestone 1, I collaborated with Game Design and the Graphics department to set the style of the game. With the Graphics department, we created a Concept Art page that included all the artwork and references we used to make the atmosphere of the game. Since I was the head of the department I was in charge of taking protocol each week for the GFX meeting. I would go over the team's accomplishments from the prior week and based on that assessment, we would plan out what we wanted to have done for the next meeting. Essentially, we did weekly sprints and discussed our progress. I would be in contact with Game Design and go over assets made and what they needed from us. This included making changes to some assets to better fit Game Design's vision of the game's atmosphere. I had to create all the Jira tickets for the assets we received from the Asset List. After making the tickets, I would collaborate with the GFX members and we would divide up the work based on our skills. I also attended the weekly Heads Meeting as the Graphics Head.
Milestone 2
In Milestone 2, I continued to go to the Heads Meeting and sometimes wrote protocols for these meetings. The same goes for the GFX meetings, I would write down different topics to discuss with the group along with writing protocol. I continued to write Jira tickets for the graphics team. I made 3D assets where I modeled, UV unwrapped, textured, and triangulated the mesh to import to Unity.
Milestone 3
In Milestone 3, I continued to go to the Heads Meeting. The same goes for the GFX meetings, I would write down different topics to discuss with the group along with writing protocol. I continued to make 3D assets and I also did the UVing and texturing for some of Niklas's models. I collaborated more with Game Design along with Engineering and even Sound. With Akseli, I recorded lines for the announcement voice-over that plays in the game. I did some basic animations in collaboration with Niklas for the Drive Core. I also made blinking lights for the server rack asset in the room that houses the AI and Drive Core.
